What is airbag certified?
Airbag certification means our seat covers have been independently tested to ensure they allow your vehicle's seat-mounted side airbags to deploy correctly in the event of an accident.
Our Workproof seat covers feature specially designed airbag-compatible stitching, allowing the airbag seam to open when required without restricting deployment.
Our covers have undergone independent airbag testing in Australia, giving you peace of mind that you're not compromising your vehicle's safety when protecting your seats.
Safety is just as important to us as durability and fit.
How much do you charge for seat fitting?
Yes! We offer a professional fitting service at our Workproof factory, ensuring your new seat covers are fitted correctly.
Our fitting prices are:
- Single Bucket Seat: $40.25
- Front Pair: $80.50
- Bench Seat: $80.50
- Full Set: $115.00
All prices include GST.
Please note that our fitting service is available at our factory only and must be arranged in advance.
How do the covers deal with moisture?
Our Workproof seat covers are made from heavy-duty 12oz canvas that is waterproof and rot-protected, helping protect your original seats from spills, moisture, mud and everyday wear.
While the canvas provides excellent protection against moisture, we recommend removing the covers if they become heavily saturated to allow both the covers and the original seats to dry thoroughly before refitting.
Do you import the seat covers?
No! All Workproof seat covers are proudly manufactured right here in New Zealand at our factory in Ashburton.
Unlike imported, mass-produced seat covers, our products are made in-house by our skilled team using heavy-duty 12oz canvas. Each cover is precision-cut and manufactured to suit your specific vehicle, ensuring a superior fit and long-lasting protection.

Which seat cover colour is better?
Our Workproof canvas seat covers are available in Black and Charcoal Grey, and both offer the same heavy-duty protection and durability.
Black Canvas – A sleek, factory-style look that blends nicely with darker vehicle interiors. A popular choice for those wanting a clean, professional finish.
Charcoal Grey Canvas – A practical all-rounder that's great for hiding dust, dirt and everyday marks, making it particularly popular for farming, trades and off-road use.
Both colours are manufactured using the same tough 12oz canvas, so you won't be compromising on quality whichever you choose.
Our recommendation? If you're regularly working in dusty or muddy conditions, Charcoal Grey is a great choice. If you prefer a darker, factory-style finish, Black is the way to go!
What if you don’t make a cover for my vehicle?
We're constantly expanding our range of seat covers to suit more vehicles, so if you can't find your make or model listed on our website, get in touch!
We may already have a pattern in development or be able to arrange a custom fitting at our Ashburton factory.

How do you wash them?
Our heavy-duty 12oz canvas seat covers are easy to maintain and designed to handle everyday dirt, mud and spills.
For general cleaning, simply wipe down with a damp cloth or use a soft brush with mild soapy water to remove stubborn dirt. Allow the covers to air dry completely before use.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach or use harsh cleaning chemicals, as these may damage the canvas and its protective properties.
How long does it take to arrive?
All Workproof seat covers are proudly manufactured to order at our factory in Ashburton, New Zealand.
We generally aim for a 5–7 working day turnaround before dispatch. However, during peak sales periods or times of high demand, production times may be extended.
To keep you in the loop, we have an in-house order tracking system that provides automatic updates as your order moves through production, from cutting and manufacturing through to quality control and dispatch.
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking details so you can follow its delivery.
Quality takes time, and we believe it's worth the wait!
How long will they last?
Our Workproof seat covers are built to last! Manufactured right here in New Zealand using heavy-duty 12oz canvas and high-quality UV-resistant stitching, they're designed to withstand years of everyday use in tough Kiwi conditions.
Whether you're working on the farm, out on the tools or heading off-road, our covers are made to handle dirt, mud, moisture and general wear and tear while protecting your original seats.
The lifespan of your covers will depend on how they're used and maintained, but with proper care, you can expect many years of reliable protection.

What’s the warranty on your seat covers?
We stand behind the quality of every Workproof seat cover we manufacture.
Our seat covers come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or damage caused by improper care.
We also offer our Sure Fit Guarantee, so if your covers don't fit your vehicle as advertised, we'll work with you to put things right.

Can I have my logo on my seat cover?
Absolutely! We offer custom logo printing and embroidery so you can personalise your Workproof seat covers with your business, farm or company logo.
Our in-house heat transfer printing allows us to apply your logo directly to the covers, while embroidery is also available for those wanting a stitched finish.
Simply select the custom logo option when ordering and provide us with your logo artwork. Our team will take care of the rest!
For our wholesale dealers, custom logo printing is free of charge.
Do you offer bulk orders for fleets?
Absolutely! We supply Workproof seat covers to businesses, fleet operators and organisations throughout New Zealand.
